We believe that it is important to work for more money for the production of films in our county, because this provides jobs for more skilled workers over longer periods and because we want to help increase the region's production volume in general. Our owners agree with this, and they have consequently approved spending more money on long fiction in the coming year. We are therefore announcing a pitch competition for feature-length fiction, where the entire prize of at least NOK 3 million goes to the production of one film project!
The criteria for participation are outlined below:
- Who can apply?
The main producer is the applicant and must be an AS with the correct business code and main address in the Register of Legal Entities in Rogaland.
- Application requirements:

- Minimum Rogaland-spend 75%
- The director and/or screenwriter must have a registered address in Rogaland.
- Admission must take place in the region
- The project must have received writing or development funding from Filmkraft no later than May 31, 2023.
- The application should contain:
- Ready-to-shoot feature film script or episode script
- Reginotat/Moodboard
- Producer note. Budget/ Financing plan
- Tentative progress plan
- Key functions with CV
- Still image/illustration
- possibly pilot.
- One-page word document; 25 words ref NFI requirements
- Application deadline October 13-23 at 14.00; the application is sent to post@filmkraft.no marked "Krafttak for Rogaland - pitchekonkurranse 2023"
- Announcement of prequalification for pitch takes place November 13-23
- Pitch will be held November 28-23. Requirements for content as specified above. Max 15 min pitch + Q&A. The jury will consist of the CEO and fiction consultant of Filmkraft, the CEO of Mediefondet Zefyr and a distributor TBC.
- Winner to be announced at Rogalerret December 6-23
