All film centers, funds and NFI in Norway are subject to the same regulations from the Ministry of Culture. Based on KUD: regulations on subsidies for the production and dissemination of audiovisual works , the Norwegian Film Institute has formulated three regulations that film centers and funds must comply with; 

• regulations on subsidies for audiovisual production
• regulations on subsidies for film distribution
• regulations on subsidies for the development, launch and dissemination of games
