Application deadlines and board meetings in 2020:
January 15 (6 weeks before the board meeting scheduled for March 4)
April 21 (6 weeks before the board meeting scheduled for June 3)
August 12 (6 weeks before the board meeting scheduled for September 23)
October 21 (6 weeks before board meeting scheduled for December 2)
In recent years, Filmkraft Rogaland has operated with more application deadlines than any other film center in Norway. However, we have experienced that the application rounds are very uneven, and that this does not always benefit the best projects. The board has therefore decided to reduce the number of application deadlines from six to four in 2020. This means two application deadlines in the spring and two in the fall. We are also extending our case processing time by two weeks, in order to offer closer follow-up from our production advisor Marie Fuglestein Lægreid. Applications of up to NOK 100,000 will be processed on an ongoing basis as before.
