POWER TAKE FOR ROGALAND 2025

The goal of "Krafttak for Rogaland 2025" is to increase the number of productions in long formats with main producers from Rogaland.

Krafttak for Rogaland 2025 is part of the producer initiative Best Practice. The target group is producers in the region with experience in long formats (fiction and documentary). Participants must bring a concrete individual project in early development, where they are the main producer. 

Experienced producer supervisors will follow the projects from development phase to final pitch. Names of supervisors will be announced after the New Year.

Feb-25: kick-off February 5th

Participants present their ideas/projects to the group and are assigned a producer supervisor.

Guidance spring-25

Up to 8 hours per project with individual guidance + pitch guidance

June-25; pitch

Closed pitch for the projects in 10 minutes to the group. Status and the way forward, what do the producers need?

Yngve Sæther is one of two supervisors in Krafttak for Rogaland 2025. Yngve Sæther was born in 1964 and spent much of his youth in film clubs and at the cinema. He became producer and development manager at the well-established production company Motlys in 2001. Mannen som elsket Yngve, based on Tore Renberg's novel of the same title, was Sæther's debut as a feature film producer. He has also produced; 

Sex, Love, A-ha, NinjaBaby, Kompani Orheim, I travel alone, Most people live in China, etc.

Cecilie Aspenes studied psychology at the University of Oslo and film studies at Lillehammer University College, before graduating as a producer at the Norwegian Film School. She has worked in the development and production of feature films and drama series in the Norwegian and Nordic industry for more than 20 years. She has also worked in purchasing, distribution and marketing, as well as top financing at Nordisk Film & TV Fond.

Her last workplace was the Norwegian Film Institute, where she has held the position of film consultant for feature films and drama series since 2021.

Cecilie has produced the feature film All foreigners have closed their curtains and the TV series Dirty Snow (NRK) and Witch Hunt (TV2).
