FILMKRAFT ROGALAND'S PRIVACY POLICY


Filmkraft Rogaland's privacy policy explains how we process personal data when you use our services at filmkraft.no, regportal.no, receive newsletters, invitations and press releases, or contact us by e-mail.

1. Who is the data controller

Filmkraft Rogaland AS, reg. no. 990 279 772 (hereinafter "Filmkraft" or "We") is a regional film center. Filmkraft works to develop and strengthen professional audiovisual production in the region through grants for the development and production of documentaries and short films, as well as early development of feature films and TV series. We also work to increase film expertise among professional film workers and young talent in the region through various initiatives and support schemes. Through this work, we will process personal data.

Filmkraft Rogaland is the data controller when we process your personal data, including when you apply for grants, use our services at filmkraft.no, receive newsletters, invitations and press releases, or contact us by e-mail.

We take your privacy seriously and would like you to contact us if you have any questions related to our processing or wish to exercise other rights under the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"). 2. Processing basis and purpose of the processing

Filmkraft processes personal data on the basis of law. We administer grant schemes in accordance with the Regulations on Grants for Audiovisual Productions, Regulations on Grants for Film Dissemination, Regulations on Grants for the Development, Launch and Dissemination of Computer Games and Regulations for Grants in Filmkraft Rogaland.

When you send an application to Filmkraft, call us, send an e-mail or are in contact with us in any other way, we must process the necessary personal data in order to process your inquiry. The basis for such processing is an agreement between us, and we process the personal data necessary to fulfill such an agreement, e.g. to decide whether to enter into a contract with you. We encourage you not to use e-mail for matters that contain special categories of personal data or other sensitive information.

Filmkraft is committed to ensuring that the processing of your personal data takes place within a secure framework and will only collect, register and store it for as long as it is necessary and we have a basis for the processing. As a general rule, the data will be deleted when the need to store it no longer exists, unless we have a statutory obligation to store it for longer under other regulations, such as the Archives Act.

In addition, we have a strong focus on security so that personal data is protected against unauthorized access and use.

4. Disclosure of personal data

Filmkraft only shares personal data with other actors if there is a basis for such disclosure. For example, personal data may be disclosed to other public agencies that have a legal basis for using the data in their case processing, such as the Norwegian National Collection Agency and the Norwegian Tax Administration, as well as other film funds and film centers that are included in the application portal.

We do not disclose your personal data to anyone other than those who have a legal basis for doing so, unless you have authorized or consented to it.

Our suppliers may have access to your personal data, in which case a data processing agreement is entered into with each supplier that processes personal data on our behalf. Our suppliers process your personal data in accordance with such agreement and our instructions.

5. Your rights

You have the right to know what personal data we process about you and can ask us for a copy of the personal data we have stored about you. If the personal data we have collected is inaccurate, you can ask us to correct or supplement it. In some cases, you can demand that we delete your personal data and that we restrict the processing of information about you.

If you believe that the information and assistance you receive from us is inadequate, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.

6. Legislation on openness

Filmkraft manages public funds and is required to comply with the Freedom of Information Act. The main rule under the Freedom of Information Act is that case documents are publicly available. This means that others have the right to access the documents created in the contact between us, applicants and the public. However, this does not mean that all documents are available without reservation, and documents that are subject to a duty of confidentiality by law will be shielded from others than those handling the case. Personal data will also be disclosed or exempted from access in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act when other parties request access to our documents.
